Star Player

“And a voice from Heaven said, “this is my son, whom I love, with him I am well pleased.” - Matthew 3:17

When you play a sport, your goal is to play so good that people notice you. You swell with pride as you hear your parents yelling from the stands anytime you do great. You try to hide your excitement when your coach praises you and encourages you to keep it up. Everyone is pleased with the athlete that goes out there and plays the sport with their best effort and full determination and with victory of their mind. This player knows the rules to the game and practices and focuses on applying those rules to each moment and not letting fear or others turn them away from their goal. This life we are living, God is wanting us all to be the best we can be. He wants us waking up and deciding we are going to follow his rules everyday and give all our effort and determination to live right by him. The rules to this life are living like Jesus. God sent Jesus here as his star player to show us all how to live just right so we can have victory! Get out your Bible and start learning the rules. Jesus was a perfect example, and God is his biggest fan. He wants to be ours also.
