Do you know what Jesus did?

“This is what the Lord Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Reform your ways and your actions, and I will let you live in this place.” - Jeremiah 7:3

Imagine I had a vehicle that was broken down. It had been parked in the yard, not working for years. Every day I walked past the vehicle and walked to the bus stop and took the bus to work. One day, a neighbor sent a mechanic to the vehicle and the mechanic was able to get the vehicle up and running. But I don’t even know what he has done for me. I just keep doing what I always do. I keep wishing I had a vehicle to make things easier. Eventually, all my complaining turns into asking God why things are so hard and why am I going through this?  I then begin to blame God like he didn’t already fix the problem for me by sending the mechanic. He has repaired what is lost but I am so used to doing things my way, I’m not even noticing what he has done for me.

God has already done EVERYTHING for us to be able to live a life that He originally wanted for us. A good life full of hope and prosperity. He sent his son to teach us his ways, die for our sins, and defeat death so we don’t have to even face it. God sent the mechanic to fix everything for us. All He wants in return is for us to live righteously and by His Word. He wants us all to have the heart of Jesus by living just like He showed us how to. He wants us to imprint the Word of God in our heart so we turn away from all sin. He wants us to be perfect because He is perfect! And He already said we can do it. He sent His son to give us a fresh start because He is positive we can live without sin. He is positive we can overcome the devil in our lives because Jesus already did! He repaired everything and counted on us to trust His ways, live by them, love one another the right way, and be thankful for all He does.

Don’t live another day in sin, not noticing what Jesus did for you. Tell the devil no in your life and start living a good life with peace and happiness. Stop complaining and be thankful. Live a life knowing Jesus died for you. Work to have a heart just like His. He did the hard part for us. And it was very hard. All we have to do is change our ways to His ways and we join in His reward.

This message is to let you know that God sent the mechanic! It is all fixed! Follow behind Jesus and be thankful for your life and live for Him. Jesus loves us so much, are you loving him back?
