Judgment for Kids
MATTHEW 18:1-6 “About that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?”
Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them. Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. “And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me. But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.”
This world is dark. And it needs to be judged. Kids are not being treated right in this world. And God has had enough. The evil treatment of children, the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven, is beyond evil. It’s wicked. Every adult in this world is either pushing a child to God or pushing them to the world, which is the devil. If you have anything negative to say about a child, you are sinning against God. Jesus is very direct in how he expects children to be treated. Children are born into this world pure. They are glowing with a destiny. Unfortunately, the world is full of evil spirits and the negativity in the child’s home immediately starts pulling them from God. As the child grows older they take on the spirits of the parents. And if the parent doesn’t only posses God’s spirits, the Fruits of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23), that child is taking on spirits of the devil. Are you angry? That’s an evil spirit. Do you yell at your child for being angry? You gave your child that spirit. Every bad spirit you see in your child is from you. God has had enough. God sent his son to show us how to live on this creation. And he taught us how to teach God’s blessings. He sacrificed it all for us so we could see how to sacrifice it all for the future. God also gave us his word so we know how to repent and to change our ways so the future, the children, can have God again. Do you and your spouse fight all the time? Your child is created with 1/2 of both of your spirits. If those spirits are always fighting in the child, how would you think that feels? But beyond this, the sins against children have become so evil and so perverse. And God’s judgment is coming. They are being killed and Jesus clearly states it has never been God’s will for children to die. (Matthew 18:14 “In the same way, it is not my heavenly Father’s will that even one of these little ones should perish.”) Judge your heart right now and see what side of judgment you will be on. If you have a heart of repentance, and remorse, and feel very sorry about your sins, then Jesus can help you. Psalm 38:18 says, “I confess my iniquity; I am troubled by my sin.” But if you think you know better than God’s Word, you will be judged. Children will be safe on this creation and it will be very soon.
